VETERAN & SERVICE MEMBER BANNERS

The Main Street Banners Project is sponsored by the Saxonburg VFW Post 7376, and is in honor of all local Veterans and Service Members. 

  • The request process for the second set of banners has closed, we are currently in the design and proofing stage. 
    •

     

  • We anticipate a future round no earlier than fall 2026 - gather your photos and info and keep your eyes on the website, Facebook and newspaper!

    • The first set of banners were displayed on November 2, 2025, and are for many of our local service members killed in action in wars from World War I to Iraq. See list here: Fall 2025 Banners

    WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO BE HONORED WITH A BANNER?
    Local Veterans or Service Members with Honorable Service
    • Service in combat/foreign war is not required
    • Local means lived at any time in and around the Knoch area school district 
    HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
    The cost of a single banner (design, print and installation) is $200. This amount is not due until final confirmation of the details/photo, and will be invoiced at that time.
    •  Current and deceased members of the Saxonburg VFW may be eligible for a discount and that will be communicated during invoicing.
    What's Next? 
    1. After submission, details will be reviewed and confirmed. The total cost for a banner is $200; a final invoice will be emailed.
    2. The request will only be considered final once the invoice is paid.
    3. The print and installation date is to be announced, anticipated late spring 2026. 
    I WANT A BANNER BUT DIDN'T GET MY REQUEST IN - WHAT HAPPENS? 
    We anticipate a future round no earlier than fall 2026 - gather your photos and info.
     
    WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I SUBMIT?
    • You will receive a copy of your responses to the email used to submit this form and you may update responses after submission to correct any errors.
    • You will be contacted (by email) with any questions and final invoice. Responses may be delayed.
    WHO DO I CONTACT WITH QUESTIONS?
